One from mobile webpage and another from the app. I don't see this in other pages.

So the real description should be:

The mobile app remove the search box in the web page after it's fully loaded. Before that users can see two search boxes.

This will disappear if you set the APPLICATION_VERSION header to Wikipedia Mobile/Android

Comment 5 Yuvi Panda 2011-12-15 18:18:07 UTC
The only way to actually send the Header on every URL is by getting the content ourselves and putting it in the IFrame manually. URLCache does this, and if we enable URLCache for every page, that should 'fix' this bug.

Are we enabling URLCache for every page for v1.0?
Comment 6 Yuvi Panda 2011-12-15 18:25:02 UTC
Brion says we are enabling it for everything, so when that gets fixed so will this :)
Comment 7 Brion Vibber 2011-12-16 22:39:29 UTC
This seems resolved with the current system in latest builds. Lightweight rewrite removes the extra items before we show anything, yay!
