Please create a new Mailing List for Gujarati Language Wikipedia (gu.wikipedia). I propose mailing list name as 'wikigu-l' and hence the email addrerss for the list would be 'wikigu-l@lists.wikimedia.org'.

We have received community consensus for the creation of it, discussion on this can be seen at [http://gu.wikipedia.org/wiki/વિકિપીડિયા:ચોતરો_(અન્ય)#Mailing_List here] where all the voters have voted in agreement.

The naming convention is now Wikipedia-XX@lists.wikimedia.org - so in this case, Wikipedia-GU@lists.wikimedia.org.  Is that acceptable?  Will you be the initial list administrator?

Yes for both the questions. Wikipedia-GU@lists.wikimedia.org is perfectly alright for us, infact I prefer this over the wikigu and I will be the initial list administrator. Thank you for your message to make me aware of new convention.
