What is this bug actually ?
Invalid bug, please purge the page to see the change.
I actually confirm the bug. Purged the page, cleaned the cache, it's still there.
I actually created the page with __NOEDITSECTION__ so there was a version with editsection links. I did clear the browser cache, but that's not enough. It requires &action=purge for some raeason. http://www.mediawiki.org/w/index.php?title=User:Subfader/NoEditSection&action=purge New page including __NOEDITSECTION__ has editsection links: http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/User:Subfader/NoEditSection/New Can you confirm? If so it's buggy behaviour and confusing for users...
Yes I confirm, that it has [edit] links present.
Just in case nobody believes me: http://i.imgur.com/w4Fhv.png
I don't know what you guys did, but I did ?action=purge at first look and it is no longer there, and it hasn't appeared since.

I believe this has already been fixed in trunk, someone just needs to double check.

merged with r108622, making FIXED
