When you click on the menu to select a font, the page jumps to the top. In most skins you won't notice this since you are at the top of the page anyway, but for example in the skin myskin (see url) you will notice this. There seems a e.preventDefault(); to be missing.
We're basically only supporting and testing Vector, Monobook and Modern for WebFonts and Narayam UI elements. Them working in any of the legacy skins is being lucky. We're not going to fix this, but we're open to accepting patches, testing those and integrating them.
This actually is an issue with the modern skins, too: It breaks the backwards button of your browser: 1. Go to https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Talk:MediaWiki 2. Click "Page" to go to https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/MediaWiki 3. Click "Select font" 4. Click the back button of your browser. Expected behaviour: You should return to the talk page. Actual behaviour: You have to click "back" a second time.
