Description pumbur 2011-12-29 19:39:48 UTC
i cant load most of wikimedia sites, because they use styles from bits.wikimedia.org/.../load.php?... which not responding to me

for example, http://bits.wikimedia.org/en.wikipedia.org/load.php work ok, show:
/* No modules requested. Max made me put this here */

but bits.wikimedia.org/en.wikipedia.org/load.php?debug=false&lang=en&modules=site&only=styles&skin=vector&*
dont work, just keep pending (chromium over time show "Error 101 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_RESET): The connection was reset.")
Comment 1 Sam Reed (reedy) 2011-12-29 19:51:38 UTC
What do you get if you set debug to true?

bits.wikimedia.org/en.wikipedia.org/load.php?debug=true&lang=en&modules=site&only=styles&skin=vector&*

Where are you based?

How long has this been happening?

Does it not give any more information?

found similiar bug in chrome-help:
http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/Chrome/thread?tid=6ad61b1da423c090&hl=en

it fixed after reboot. i don't know what changed.

linux. static ip with home router (dont think that is network problem). tested
in chromium and firefox (doesn't look like a browser-specific). also, before
reboot i go through a proxy, it worked.
