Description James Alexander 2012-01-03 23:32:33 UTC
If you move locations but do not close the map screen (for example close the app with the home button while on the map screen and then reopen the app from a new location) your new location is geolocated (and you zoom in on the blue dot for 'you' but a new search is not done for articles. If you press the on map 'find me' button you zoom over to your old location and the articles there. You can continue to move around the map but whenever you click 'find me' it will zoom back over to the old location.

If you close the map by clicking 'done' and reopen it from an article screen it redoes the search and works like normal.

Replication steps:

1. Open 'near me' and let it find articles.
2. Close app by hitting home button (do not click done)
3. Move location
4. Open App
5. Will geolocate and zoom in on where you are
6. Click 'target' button
7. Be zoomed over to old location/articles
8. Close map by clicking done
9. Reopen by clicking target button
10. zoomed in on current location along with articles nearby

Moving to OSM fixes this.
