Description Liangent 2012-01-09 23:53:53 UTC
I saved an instance as a main page (accessed by "W" button), then go to article [[Main Page]]. When I'm saving this page the app crashes.
Comment 1 Liangent 2012-01-10 00:05:00 UTC
I tried it again and he second main page didn't crash the app but cannot be loaded ("Sorry, this page
is not available. You are offline and the page has not been previously saved.
You can open a saved page or go online and search.").
Comment 2 Brion Vibber 2012-01-10 00:53:16 UTC
I can't reproduce this, either with zh or en.
Comment 3 Phil Chang 2012-01-24 18:54:38 UTC
I am seeing this on Nexus One in English. It shows the error page, saves an item with the correct title, but that item opens the "Sorry this page is not available" error page.

Could be an urgent fix for 1.02 or 1.03?
Comment 4 Phil Chang 2012-01-24 18:57:01 UTC
Seeing this in 1.01 market release on Nexus One.
Comment 5 Yuvi Panda 2012-02-07 08:06:02 UTC
I tried to repro this in current master, doesn't seem to occur. Can someone repro this?
Comment 6 Yuvi Panda 2012-04-12 03:28:02 UTC
Saved pages require the internet to be available *when the article is being save*. A future implementation might not need this on iOS and Android 3.x+. Please open a separate bug if you want to be able to save pages when not connected to the internet.
Comment 7 Phil Chang 2012-04-12 03:50:16 UTC
Can we show a message when the phone is not connected saying, "This action requires an Internet connection"? Just a nice to have. This would make it harder to implement the future feature, of course.
