Description Nemo 2012-01-10 12:07:03 UTC
Currently, if you try to mark for translation a page which has language subpages or subpages of the page title in Translations: namespace, the extension adds tags but no action is recorded in the logs and the page is not marked for translation. This should fail gracefully, not with the current fatal error PHP fatal error in /home/wikipedia/common/php-1.18/extensions/Translate/tag/RenderJob.php line 51: Call to a member function initCollection() on a non-object)

Can you please provide detailed steps to reproduce? This will help in testing and solving this.

I've actually been unable to reproduce it myself lately, but in a different wiki and with different conditions, so I'm not sure it's completely fixed.
If I remember correctly, Niklas changed some things in that area making it more robust, it might be the reason why this now works.
I'd need the page translation administration page to describe what one should check before marking a page for translation (especially when there are previous translation systems around), to know what's supposed to work and if it actually does.

I'll set you up on sandbox.translatewiki.net so you can play as much as you want :).
