Description Srikanth Logic 2012-01-10 15:16:19 UTC
"The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog" doesnt help test language fonts. Some random 10 strings from core translation can be used if the "language support teams" cannot give a pangram for testing the font.
Comment 1 Santhosh Thottingal 2012-01-10 15:29:52 UTC
That string should be translated by translators. See the message documentation:
'webfonts-preview-sampletext' => 'Do not translate literally, but give a [[:w:Pangram|pangram]] in your language for using as default preview text.',

What is the problem you see here?
Comment 2 Srikanth Logic 2012-01-10 16:32:36 UTC
False positive. Apologies
Comment 3 Siebrand Mazeland 2012-01-10 16:34:10 UTC
Sometimes it takes a few days to have translations in a few dozen languages :).
