MediaWiki does not support stored procecures/functions.

Preliminary works was made in r107376 and r107994 and would need to be worked on before being merged back in trunk.

Offending revision reverted, we have stored procs support in core again;)

What is the status of this now? Is there currently any support at all for
MySQL stored procedures?

I just noticed this bug in Bugzilla and didn't remember any use of stored
procedures in MediaWiki. Apparently tests/phpunit/data/db/mysql/functions.sql
is still there, having been added back in r108671, and "[...] support for MySQL
stored procedures" does not mean MediaWiki actually uses them at all.
