Description bugzilla23 2012-01-13 09:17:30 UTC
When mediawiki (1.18) is installed via LAN, the local IP adress seems to be saved somewhere.

External querys try to resolve the internal IP when retrieving subfolders.

fix $wgServer in localsettings.php from your LAN IP Adress to WAN IP adress
Comment 2 bugzilla23 2012-01-13 16:47:47 UTC
after setting $wgServer in localsettings.php to external IP Adress i wasn`t able to access via LAN anymore. (I can`t connect my own external IP, which might contingent on my hardware) External access worked fine.

Deleting the $wgServer in localsettings.php works fine for me .
