If i understand correctly, the title of the icon that runs the app can be localized: "Wikipedia" in English, "Wikipedie" is Czech, "Viquipèdia" in Catalan etc. In Hebrew it's supposed to be written in the Hebrew script: "ויקיפדיה". Today i saw that on Samsung Galaxy S with the Hebrew (iw) locale it indeed appears in Hebrew. However, on my phone (Sony Xperia Neo) it appears in English, even though my locale is Hebrew. I'm not sure why it happens, but maybe it has something to do with the fact that i cannot switch to the Hebrew (iw) locale using this phone's settings menu, but have to use the MoreLocale app that was installed for me when i bought it.
I can reproduce this using MoreLocale 2 on my Nexus 1 (Android 2.3.6, no default Hebrew locale). Tried both iw_IL and he_IL (seems to go with iw either way). I can see Hebrew in a couple places (like the Market app) so it's definitely taking, but not picking up on our app. ... aha looks like I need to copy values-he dir to values-iw maybe.
Fixed on master in commit 595771dce595903c9c2e68c805fa25d4b0771fd9
Pushed to our 1.0 branch for the upcoming market release, along with an api key fix.
