The AFT box in the bottom right corner of the screen should disappear once it has been clicked on and the resulting form submitted or quit. Either that, or there should be a [X] on the box to dismiss it. A floating box like that may be a good way to get feedback, but it is also annoying, so it should be possible to get rid of it (and not just by disabling the entire feature in preferences, which only works for logged-in users anyway).
Close box was removed according to the requirements. Reassigning to Fabrice.
Hi Thomas, thanks for submitting this bug. At this stage, we are only testing this proposed feature on 0.6% of the english encyclopedia. Once we have analyzed test results, we will determine whether or not to keep this feature, based on the quality of the feedback and edits which it generates. If test results warrant keeping this feature in some form, we definitely would plan to add an "X" button for logged out users as well. But we will wait to implement this until we have decided to make this a product. For these reasons, I am keeping this bug in phase 2 of AFT5.
The "Improve this page" notice I've just seen attached to the bottom right corner of an article has a cross on it, which is great, so thanks for that! Unfortunately, nothing happens when I click on the cross... I'm using Firefox 12.0.
The floating AFT box did not make it to the final AFT design and has been dismissed for a couple of months now
