Description Bill Lalonde 2012-01-18 13:07:32 UTC
Wikipedia has introduced a blackout of the English Wikipedia to protest SOPA legislation in the United States. The mechanism used to implement this blackout is not effective if JavaScript is disabled in the browser. If JavaScript is disabled, the full text of the English Wikipedia continues to be available (edit has been disabled). If this is not a correct channel, please redirect to an appropriate support channel. (Since editing has been disabled on the English Wikipedia, some of the normal support channels are not available).
Comment 1 Bill Lalonde 2012-01-18 13:18:06 UTC
It is also possible to circumvent the blackout by using the NoScript add-on for the Firefox browser.

Thanks, I didn't know it was intentional. I wanted to see your blackout succeed, so I just thought I'd let you know.
