Description Sam Reed (reedy) 2012-01-23 21:58:57 UTC
Clicking on citation links doesn't take you to the reference unless the reference section has been previously expanded

I believe this worked before...

HEAD on 2.3.5
Comment 1 Derk-Jan Hartman 2012-01-24 19:08:16 UTC
It works in the website version, but not in the app apparently.

Although I think we should have something more in the lines of the new Cite tooltip bringing up the reference somehow.

We could consider asking Brandon if he has ideas on how this should work on mobile. There is also the problem that those targets are super small and not really suited for touch interfaces.

Adding "design" keyword and CCing Brandon.

This applies to the links in both directions -- that is, the "[1]" link down to the footnotes section, and also the "^" link (or the a b c links, or the up-arrow in some cases) back up from the footnotes section to the original place in the text.

I agree with Derk-Jan, also -- the links are too small to be useful, at least on my G2 phone.
