Looking at the "onthisday" RSS feed, the <li> list elements have no parent element, but they DO have a closing </ul>. Looking on the homepage itself, they appear to be formatted correctly, so it appears to only be an issue with the RSS feed.

This is my first bug report, so not sure if I categorized this correctly or if you need more info. Feel free to contact me if needed. Thanks!

That's a problem with wiki's content, i.e. https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:Selected_anniversaries/January_11&action=edit has that closing </ul>, but not the opening one.
