There is a problem in the 1st edit [https://or.wikipedia.org/wiki/?oldid=1], the history looks lost here. As or.wikipedia was created on June 2002, but it shows that the 1st edit was done on 29th January 2004. Please check it.

Are you sure there was content? There may have been none, or the wiki may not have existed, or it may have been a phase1 wiki with no Unicode support. Is there evidence of particular missing data?
no i am not sure. But [http://stats.wikimedia.org/EN/TablesWikipediaGrowthSummary.htm] it shows that the Oriya wikipedia was created in June 2002.

archive.org and reedy's query are way more reliable than wikistats: the oldest edits shown there are often revisions imported from other wikis.
