Description [[kgh]] 2012-02-08 02:11:26 UTC
The parameter --server to this script is not working. The resulting xml index file does not contain the provided information.
Comment 1 Sam Reed (reedy) 2012-02-08 02:14:41 UTC
Is this in addition to bug 34208?
Comment 2 [[kgh]] 2012-02-08 02:17:05 UTC
Yes, I just found out that Google went beserk on the sitemap I provided a couple of days ago. I did not check back then. I switched back to https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:GenerateSitemap.php/Google which is working.

Rather than having a full file that's completely useless, perhaps someone could give us a diff of the changes so they could be possibly included in trunk.

I understand that this is completely useless to you. No doubt about that. Actually there was never one. However this link was not intended for coders like you but for users that run into the same problem as I did who might want to use it as a quick work around. Not more,l not less. And yes, if I were a coder I would definitely provide a patch.
Comment 5 [[kgh]] 2014-06-11 15:25:31 UTC
Hmm, this is working in recent versions of MW (1.21 and 1.22, not sure about 1.19 and 1.20 though). However I am closing this as RESOLVED FIXED.
