It'll convenient to add also two alias Index: for अनुक्रमणिका and Page: for namespace 104.

Note mr.wikisource seems to already have the namespaceses for proofread page.
To quote the config file:

        'mrwikisource' => array(
            100 => 'दालन', // Portal
            101 => 'दालन_चर्चा', // Portal talk
            102 => 'सूची', // Author
            103 => 'सूची_चर्चा', // Author talk
            104 => 'पान', // Page
            105 => 'पान_चर्चा', // Page talk
            106 => 'साहित्यिक', // Index
            107 => 'साहित्यिक_चर्चा', // Index talk


So proofread page probably just needs to be associated with the right namespace in whatever hacky way it does that.

Please create the alias in English.

Same name is used for alias.


Also, correct translation for Index is 'अनुक्रमणिका'. Can 106 be renamed to 'अनुक्रमणिका'? Will make sure that installation of new plugin do not break.

Yes - Generally how renaming namespaces work is the old name is made an alias of the new name, and a script moves all pages in the old namespace to the new namespace.

So just to get everything in one place for the shell users, what is wanted is:
* Rename namespace 106 from साहित्यिक to अनुक्रमणिका
* Create an alias to namespace 106 named Index (and similar for 107).

You shold probably specify if you want namespace 107 ( the corresponding talk namespace ) also renamed.

Thanks Sam. Currently trying to get the Proofread module working. Will change the status once it start working. If there are any other changes required in namespace, will update in this ticket itself.

I can't read the script, therefore it pretty much looks like squiggles.

You don't need to worry about the canonical ones

If any entries are wrong, please tell me what's wrong and I can attempt to correct/update them

Hi Sam,
When the canonical names are same across all sites, it is easy to get help from the people who understand roman script. Hence I am worried about the canonical name.
