Description Lars Aronsson 2012-02-21 01:58:10 UTC
The Special:Indexpages should take a page name prefix as a subpage-style parameter, similar to what Special:Allpages does. That is, [[Special:Indexpages/History]] would only list those index pages that begin with History...

Index pages (and Djvu files) for multi volume works are often named like
History of steam engines vol. 3.djvu,
and it would be convenient to get a list of the volumes of just that work.

Additionally, it would be nice if Special:Indexpages/Prefix could be transcluded into other pages, e.g. {{Special:Indexpages/History of steam engines}}

I discovered now, that there is already a key= CGI parameter that can be used for exactly this purpose, e.g.
