Description Daniel Friesen 2012-02-21 10:46:30 UTC
Web browser field in Bugzilla is a little old:
- Apple Safari
- Google Chrome
- Internet Explorer 6.x
- Internet Explorer 7.x
- Internet Explorer 8.x
- Internet Explorer 9+
- Mozilla Firefox 2.x
- Mozilla Firefox 3.x
- Mozilla Firefox 4.x
- Opera

Firefox is already at 10.x and growing. Perhaps we should just drop that and say "Mozilla Firefox" for every recent version and leave 2.x and 3.x in for stuff related to issues in old versions of Firefox.

Internet Explorer also needs an entry for 10.

We should trim the list down to just browser names and drop the version numbers--it's impossible to keep up with version numbering these days and a waste of time to try.

To be perfectly honest, I'd just as soon remove the field entirely.

Removed versions... considering this fixed.
