Description ProtoplasmaKid 2012-03-09 18:03:33 UTC
Wikimedia Mexico is supporting Wikipedia Student Club in the Facultad de Filosofía y Letras of UNAM. They need a mail list for internal comunication and collaborations. You can refer here the project: http://outreach.wikimedia.org/wiki/Student_Organizations/Clubhouse/Club_Wikipedia_Filosof%C3%ADa_y_Letras_UNAM and http://www.filos.unam.mx/club-wikipedia-facultad-ffyl (in spanish)

The project leaders are for UNAM Pablo Miranda Quevedo (User:Moonunit) pablomirandaquevedo
-at- gmail.com and for Wikimedia México, Carmen Alcázar (User:Metik) at wotancito -at- gmail.com

Thank you so much.

It's been just under 2 months since this bug request was filed - although nobody has replied as of yet, is the mailing list still required?
Comment 2 ProtoplasmaKid 2012-05-01 00:25:12 UTC
Yes, it's still needed.
Comment 3 Casey Brown 2012-05-23 22:34:48 UTC
We usually don't create mailing list for clubs and WikiProjects. Could they use a Google Group or Yahoo Group instead?
Comment 4 Thehelpfulone 2012-06-11 22:52:58 UTC
Following up, Google Groups - https://groups.google.com/d/creategroup is where you can create a group, you should be able to do it with your current Google account.
Comment 5 ProtoplasmaKid 2012-06-11 23:13:46 UTC
Due to the time passed without response, the Club decided to open a group that already works on Facebook. We can close this bug.
Comment 6 Alex Monk 2012-06-11 23:14:37 UTC
In that case, RESOLVED WONTFIX.
