When posting a Wikipedia page to Facebook a selection of pictures will appear which will accompany the post. The numbers of selection do not match the order of the pictures displayed to select.

Sounds non sense to me, you are comparing: - number of pictures Versus - order of them It like comparing 7 and a suite like A B C D E. Anyway, that is a Facebook issue. There is probably nothing we can do about it.
