Description Dejan Papež 2012-03-16 12:04:21 UTC
* The native name of the Slovene language should be uncapitalised by default, as it is written as such in Slovene, see http://bos.zrc-sazu.si/cgi/a03.exe?name=sskj_testa&expression=sloven%C5%A1%C4%8Dina&hs=1.
* The English name of the Slovene language should be corrected from 'Slovenian' to 'Slovene' (#language), because there has been a consensus for a long time now that it's the preferred form.

See also the [[:en:Slovene language|corresponding article]] in the English Wikipedia.
Comment 1 Niklas Laxström 2012-03-16 14:59:21 UTC
Slovenian comes from Unicode CLDR http://cldr.unicode.org/ and it must be changed there instead.

Leaving the bug open for the capitalization issue which affects other languages too.
Comment 2 Niklas Laxström 2012-03-16 16:56:14 UTC
Reed: CLDR mostly handles this correctly. One issue is the list of native names in MediaWiki itself.
Comment 3 Nemo 2012-10-02 17:00:09 UTC
Is this still current? What language names are still stored locally (on MediaWiki)?
Comment 4 Niklas Laxström 2012-10-04 06:37:15 UTC
The native names of languages like I said in the comment above. Remaining languages can be fixed when reported.
