instance i-000001ae pediapress-ocg3 cannot be deleted:

Are you sure you wish to delete instance "i-000001ae"? [Submit]

Successfully deleted instance, but failed to remove pediapress-ocg3 DNS entry.

instance continues to show up on Manage Instances as Status=running

Was an issue with the new volume having improper permissions, which disallowed the nova user from deleting directories in the volume.
