Description Daniel Kinzler 2012-03-21 14:37:02 UTC
For the Wikidata project, we plan to use Bugzilla for managing tasks and issues. Please set up two new modules in the MediaWiki-extensions product, one for each of the two extensions we will be writing:

* Wikidata
* WikidataClient

The default aussignee for these modules should be wikidata-l@wikimedia.org

Thanks!

There currently already is a Wikidata extension component, which I guess is related to https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:Wikidata

It has 15 bugs in it, only 3 are open

https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/buglist.cgi?component=Wikidata&product=MediaWiki%20extensions&list_id=101696

Do you just want to use the same one, and I'll change the default assignee?

Wikidata client extension is added
Comment 3 Daniel Kinzler 2012-03-21 16:49:32 UTC
hm... no, lets call the second extension something else. Let's call it WikidataRepo.

Reusing the same bugzilla component wouldn't be that bad, but the actual extension should be called something else. So lets go with WikidataRepo.

I've created that component also.

Something I thought I posted earlier, but didn't..

Someone needs to create an account for wikidata-l@wikimedia.org in bugzilla, otherwise we can't assign stuff to it

wikidata-l@lists.wikimedia.org exists now and I've added it to the CC list for the two components.
