Description Gerard Meijssen 2012-03-22 15:19:09 UTC
Is the Junicode usable for WebFonts. Its claim to fame is for its use in medieval language studies.
Thanks,
    Gerard

Changing the title to reflect the actual bug.
Gerard, can you confirm that you are specifically looking for Runic support? Or are you looking for a generic font in WebFonts extension that covers many scripts used for Medieval language studies?

We had added Charis SIL which covers most of the scripts in the font, but not Runic.

If it is just Runic, we need not deliver a 1.1 MB webfont for just 81 glyphs. If there is no Runic specific suitable font available, subsetting(not necessarily runtime subsetting) will be required.
