Description Iulian Ursache-Dogariu 2012-03-22 16:45:15 UTC
Wikiro-l has never been used for its intended purpose in all its 6+ years of existence. It has seen only messages that should have gone either to OTRS or to the Village Pump, and has thus been merely a source of confusion for readers and contributors.

The issue has been brought up at the ro.wikipedia Village Pump https://ro.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Cafenea#Liste_de_discutii and has met with a predictable lack of interest.

As the list admin, I kindly ask the site admins to close this list.
Thanks! :)

Per Casey Brown, the mailing list guy:

There's no way to "close" a mailman list. Instead, I would suggest that you
unsubscribe everyone from the mailing list, make it so that new people can't
subscribe, hide the list from the list of lists page, and add a note to the
"list description" in all appropriate languages that says the list is closed (and
pointing them to the other MediaWiki lists).

Note You need to log in before you can comment on or make changes to this bug.
