When I downloaded the PDF of the "Emoji" article, the emoji characters in the list at the end of the article were not included. See attachment.

I'm not sure what you mean by the "PDF"; but are the characters showing up in the HTML version?  They did for me when I tested it just now.

This bug is present with the new OCG PDF renderer as well.  Poor font coverage (plus some issues with rendering tables).
