Description Patrick Hayes 2012-03-28 19:40:22 UTC
When you click Listen In, it sometimes takes time before the sound file starts playing (due to network issues, loading audio, etc.)

The delay is a bit confusing, users (such as myself) might not understand why the audio hasn't started yet, and click multiple times.

It would be great if we could pop up a loading circle or something after the user clicks, until the audio starts.

I think this is a great idea, as I have had friends who have just kept pressing options while something was loading.

The phonegap media playing function gives no indication when it has loaded the file and is ready to play; it just plays it. How about we show a spinner until the file they chose has finished playing?

That's better than nothing. Ideally we could stop it once the file starts playing, but if that's not feasible then go with that.
