Description Jarry1250 2012-03-30 10:53:01 UTC
Okay, at least two ways to reproduce this (and the easiest way to explain is if you see it!):

* Load app
* Go to nearby view (works perfectly)
* Go back to main screen
* Either (or both):
 - Change language in settings
 - Prompt screen rotation by rotating device
* Go to nearby view again (doesn't work)

It does seem to be important that it's not the first time you go to Nearby, but the second.

This appears to be Android specific: I can't seem to reproduce from 4.3.2RC2.
Comment 2 Jarry1250 2012-11-15 14:14:54 UTC
Still reproducible using both methods.

We probably won't get around to fixing this in the PhoneGap-based app; upcoming mobile apps will implement maps differently.
