Description Thehelpfulone 2012-04-05 11:15:37 UTC
Taken from <https://otrs-wiki.wikimedia.org/wiki/OTRS_technical_challenges>.

If we are to put newsletters, out of office replies etc in the Junk (non-spam folder), the magnitude of this and the time taken is great enough I believe to warrant a second one-click button. (Perhaps one-click junk).

Seems like we need some tweaks to http://svn.wikimedia.org/svnroot/mediawiki/trunk/otrs/patches/50-one-click-spam.patch.

Sorry, I don't get it (but I don't know OTRS very well).

Thehelpfulone: "Junk = non-spam"? Could you elaborate?

I'm sorry, just spotted the queue named ""Junk (non-spam)"". Got it now.

Sure, for any one else that doesn't know the difference, we have two queues: Junk and Junk (non-spam). When the spam filters are working (they're currently not, but another bug is open for that), they work off the things in the "Junk" queue. We receive emails that are junk in their content but aren't actually strictly "spam" emails, so we put these emails in "Junk (non-spam)" so as to not mistrain the filter.

Since our upgrade to OTRS 3.2, the one-click spam functionality was completely disabled. I'm closing this bug for now - we can revisit if and when bug 54755 is resolved.
