Description Niklas Laxström 2012-04-07 20:10:57 UTC
I don't like flash, and it drains my battery.

/usr/bin/gtk-gnash -u https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/gerrit/gwtexpui_clippy1.cache.swf ....

There is no other way (yet) to add something into the clipboard. This is used for the automatic "copy" buttons in Gerrit. See also:

Comment 2 Niklas Laxström 2012-04-09 07:48:05 UTC
Personally I would gladly copy manually (I haven't ever used that feature in gerrit) instead of reducing my battery time as far as 50%.

Possible workarounds:
* turn flash off
* use adblock for all <object> tags
* stop using gerrit while using battery

Settings -> Preferences -> Use Flash Clipboard Widget
