It seems that apaches randomly loose the memcached, like sometimes it loads data using db instead of cache and stuff which is supposed to be cached doesn't load at all, is there any way to enable detailed debugging in MW so that we could trace the reason why it can't read it?

The good old $wgMemCachedDebug would do it, unfortunately it currently sends any log to the wgDebugLogFile which can be a bit messy.
