Description Brion Vibber 2012-04-17 00:10:29 UTC
Going to http://en.wikipedia.org/ doesn't redirect to the mobile view for one of Phil's test feature phones (Samsung something or other).

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.1.20) Gecko/20081217 Firefox/2.0.0.20 Novarra-Vision/8.0

This fun appears to come via their funky proxy: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vision_Mobile_Browser

Brion, Phil... what Samsung phone was this?
Comment 2 Jon 2012-06-12 20:53:15 UTC
I just located this phone and unfortunately it doesn't seem to be able to access the internet at all now so I can't grab its user agent. So closing until we can do something about this bug...
Comment 3 Max Semenik 2012-06-12 20:56:24 UTC
Cough... User-agent is in the first message:)
Comment 4 Jon 2012-06-12 21:01:39 UTC
True.. but I can't test. I guess we could update DeviceDetection to cover 'Novarra-Vision' and call an end to it then.
Comment 5 Jon 2012-09-13 23:51:00 UTC
This seems extremely low priority and there has been no progress so closing (I will fiercely close inactive bugs).
Comment 6 Andre Klapper 2012-12-14 11:05:20 UTC
[Closing as "WONTFIX" to get rid of the deprecated "LATER" resolution]
