Description Yuvi Panda 2012-04-17 13:40:34 UTC
Moving to the API means we now *have* to handle images specially. The usual API we use (mobileview) does not support pages in the File: namespace, so we'll have to use other means for this. This might mean we'd have to setup the lightbox implementation for 1.2 itself?

https://github.com/wikimedia/WikipediaMobile/pull/220 'handles' this by simply opening them up in an external browser :)
