I don't know how the diff logic is calculated, but it seems logical that if a detailed infobox is added to the beginning of an article, the diff should not compare that infobox to the intro. http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Shlomo_Moussaieff_%28businessman%29&diff=488066974&oldid=449997951 It is very rare that exact text in prose would be converted into template data. In this example the intro was expanded and an infobox added, and the diff is comparing the infobox to the old intro.
