Description Antoine "hashar" Musso (WMF) 2012-04-25 14:39:05 UTC
'testswarm' project is **** beyond repair. I have never been able to log in any of the instance since labs requires ssh keys.

I hereby request that project to be deleted. Neither Krinkle or I are using it anymore.

Thanks :-]

CCing Krinkle as a proof of support.
Comment 2 Krinkle 2012-04-25 14:40:10 UTC
+2 :)
Comment 3 Antoine "hashar" Musso (WMF) 2012-04-25 14:40:38 UTC
Please note you will most probably want to recover the 208.80.153.228 IP
Comment 4 Mark A. Hershberger 2012-04-25 15:40:03 UTC
+shell, but maybe this should be +ops
Comment 5 Ryan Lane 2012-04-25 19:19:31 UTC
Well, just delete the instances and release the IP addresses. We'll leave the project around.

I don't understand how requiring keys is a problem. I know one of the issues was that testswarm was filling up the filesystem and using all of the available memory on the system, causing authentication to fail.

You should use larger instances, and you should use /data/project (preferred) or /mnt rather than somewhere in the / filesystem (since it's tiny).

Anyone else reading this that can delete projects: Do *not* delete the project. Deleting projects can leave resources hanging. We'll need to wait till this is properly handled in nova before we can do so.

Marking wont fix since we do not delete project for now AND we might reuse that project later on.
