Clicking on 1.20alpha for TWN you're brought to <http://translatewiki.net/w/api.php?action=query&meta=siteinfo&siprop=statisticsSpecial:Version>
this specific one works now. brings you to: http://translatewiki.net/w/api.php?action=query&meta=siteinfo&maxlag=5 actually this should fix all version links for API ("8" in column "mt") (but not for others yet) improved all the link building a bit, if we get the data from API we also want to link to API URL in the html table in the version column (but the human readable output format), if it is still an old non-API wiki ("0" in column "mt") it should link to Special:Version, but that part is still based on guessing/rebuilding the version link from the statistics URL in db, and fails for non-English wikis and in other ways. working on the real fix to fetch "base"/"articlepath" from API and having that all in db.
done! for all API (method 8) in mediawikis it now builds the links from server, base and articlepath values from API where available. should now have way less failures. for method 0 it tries to build them but expects "Special" as part of the stats URL. now there are just these 53 left which are neither using API nor have "Special" in the URL due to different languages. these will still have broken links. could you go through these and check if (meanwhile) there are either api.php URLs (preferred of course) or at least one can be used that contains the standard "Special:Statistics?action=raw" and then give me new URLs?

I don't know how often is this updated, but as of today (2012-05-06) many Wikimedia MediaWikis show 1.19 although they are running 1.20wmf1

Updated all, but 2 are duplicates (de.battlestar and fr.battlestar), while tr.battlestar is not (--> looks like a hive anyways, wanna check for other languages, cleanup / create new ticket where appropriate?) @api.php5 ,,arr, another nice variation :P, we are now saving the URLs up to the api.php, everything after that is hardcoded in the config. (good that it did not cut off right _before_ api.php). so if api, then just end in api.php, if "raw" then the full URLs ending in action=raw

There were a couple minor issues with that. fixed a couple things in old versioncheck for now and updated wmf tables (remaining issues in "special projects". All at "1.20wmf2" now, but i don't wanna close it just yet though.
