Description Pranav Ravichandran 2012-05-06 17:06:37 UTC
It would be nice to be able to just browse through all the bug reports by chronological order, segregated into bugs for each component. Something like https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/describecomponents.cgi (when you click 'browse')
Comment 1 Andre Klapper 2012-05-25 08:58:25 UTC
Only open tickets? Or all tickets?
And "Chronological order" means "by bug ID" which is the default buglist.cgi sorting anyway I think. Ifd not, click the header of that column to change.

Reset assignee per bug 37789
Comment 3 Andre Klapper 2012-09-12 17:22:05 UTC
Pranav: Can you answer comment 1?
Comment 4 Pranav Ravichandran 2012-09-13 00:46:19 UTC
Something like this: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/buglist.cgi?product=Core&component=Build%20Config&resolution=--- Having multiple options for sortings, it's easier to just browse through the bugs instead of having to search with keywords.
Comment 5 Andre Klapper 2012-09-13 12:34:21 UTC
I don't see any difference between the link that you provided and for example https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/buglist.cgi?product=Wikimedia&component=Bugzilla&resolution=--- . You also have options for sortings. If you miss something, please explicitly explain and describe what you miss.
Comment 6 Andre Klapper 2012-10-09 14:07:42 UTC
Pranav: Could you answer comment 4? At the bottom of buglist.cgi you can "Change columns" and adjust to your need, and if you click on a column header you can sort by the column.
Sorry but so far I still don't understand yet what functionality exactly you are missing. :)
Comment 7 Pranav Ravichandran 2012-10-09 15:28:51 UTC
Usually, I'd have to run a keyword-related search. As in, I'd have to type in a keyword and search for bugs related to that keyword. I was talking about how mozilla's bugzilla doesn't require that you search, it also allows you to browse ALL the bugs generally. Or maybe I'm missing something obvious. I apologize if so. And sorry for the late reply, I must have missed the earlier mail.

Can you break this done to an explicit, concrete example please for both Mozilla Bugzilla and Wikimedia Bugzilla, and show how they differ? From your comment I don't understand how I can avoid a keyword-based query in Mozilla Bugzilla...
Comment 9 Andre Klapper 2012-11-13 14:19:37 UTC
Closing this as WORKSFORME, but please elaborate and provide a concrete example / usecase that I can reproduce (steps!) if the current options don't suit you.
