Description Peter Bena 2012-05-11 06:44:25 UTC
Right now there are some labs specific config parts, it would be nice to have configs in puppet so that we can create puppet script that generate different content for labs and for prod (some .erb that override prod config with labs specific stuff)

Work in progress. /usr/local/apache/common-local is its own git repository for now.
Comment 2 Peter Bena 2012-05-15 19:33:14 UTC
is that repo used by prod also or only on labs

I am still in the process of migrating beta to that repo. I am going to set up MWmultiversion.

I have set up MWmultiversion mentioned in comment 4.

MediaWiki conf and in general 'common' has been migrated to use the production repository operations/mediawiki-config.git (bug 37161).

We are using puppet for almost everything.

So I am assuming the original request is fulfilled and resolving this bug.
