tl;dr I wish to have a bugtracker component "VIAF" under product "Tools" and hereby kindly request that. rationale: On request of user Gangleri a framework of bookmarklet and Greasemonkey script has been developed which also accesses the toolserver. It looks up VIAF and GND/PND numbers, adds links to the visited web pages and links also back to the Personendaten block on dewiki as described in detail on + http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:VIAF_inter_project_linking and code repo is + http://svn.wikimedia.org/viewvc/mediawiki/trunk/tools/viaf/ The user is currently sending feature requests and bug reports by private mail which makes bug tracking difficult. Therefore I wish to have a bugtracker component "VIAF" under product "Tools" and hereby kindly request that.
Seems reasonable enough for me - can you provide me with a short (one liner) description please? Also, I am going to presume that you would like to be on the default CC list?
