On my android 2.3.6, about 90% of all links on a page are not clickable, or + they appear not work + are not underlined when clicked + no spinner is shown
addition: + problem exists also on a _saved_ page: links do not react
Talking to Wikinaut on IRC, it looks like the page loads, but the spinner is never displayed. Other animated GIFs do seem to render on his device's native webkit browser, so something else seems amiss. Will investigate.

Clarification request. Please can you let me know: Regarding "spinner": Do you mean the small spinner (gray colour) in the right corner of the search input line ? The spinner should be made more apparent (use an apparent colour). As an alternative, why not showing a bigger spinner in the middle of the current page ? (Just to avoid confusion: in the current bug case, when there is no reaction when clicking a link, I indeed did not see any spinner at all. As reported.)
Is this still an issued with 1.2?
I, for one, am unable to repro this (and sadly have never been able to)
I reported this early this year. In the meantime, the problem has been fixed and is not longer present. --> closed
