I forgot my user password and tried to reset it on meta: :

http://meta.wikimedia.beta.wmflabs.org/wiki/Special:PasswordReset

I got the error:

The username Hashar is not registered on this wiki, but it does exist in the unified login system.


Need a way to reach the unified login system ;-D

I figured it out. I had to find my home wiki using Special:CentralAuth/Hashar then ask for password reset there. For later reference, my home wiki on beta is deployment.wikimedia.beta.wmflabs.org

I have opened a bug about the incomplete / annoying error message :

Bug 37219 - centralauth-account-exists-reset should gives link to homelike

Anyway should be fixed.

The problem is that as email is not sent from labs, it isn't much useful. I fixed my password manually.
