Greyed out article

Lots of reports about this on contact us and twitter. To reproduce load http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indigenous_Australian in non beta. You'll be able to expand sections but the'll be greyed out.

Verified in the simulator and on device.
Comment 1 Jon 2012-06-01 10:07:08 UTC
This is unconfirmed but on inspection this seems to be due to pages being visited through the app and the page being cached with a missing search bar (see L85 SkinMobile.php)

When the search bar is absent the javascript on the mobile site throws an exception and never finishes loading (note references is also broken).
Comment 2 Jon 2012-06-01 10:12:57 UTC
https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/9611 ensures that if search code fails to run other code (including the important code that removes the greyed out sections) still runs.

We will need to address the caching problem with search differently.
