Description Tomasz Finc 2012-06-02 08:07:02 UTC
Lets see if we can use the native integration rather then. Users are complaining that they don't like having to enter their credentials multiple times.

In theory we shouldn't get a separate auth dialog here, but we'll want to investigate further.

I can't actually get the Facebook sharing to work on my iPod Touch -- it pops over to the Facebook app and says "An error occurred."

Ok with the magic FB keys added to my local copy of the app on current master so it actually works, here's what I got:

* first attempt to post opened the Facebook app, then popped immediately back to Wikipedia app. Nothing happened...?
* second attempt opened a dialog box within the Wikipedia app, which immediately closed. Nothing happened...?
* third attempt opened a dialog box within the Wikipedia app, which after a few seconds shows a Facebook posting dialog. Filling a description and hitting 'share' worked and posted it on my wall.

At no point was I prompted for credentials.

v3.3-iOS uses an updated Facebook API plugin which uses the native iOS 6 Facebook sharing interface when available. Closing as fixed.
