This is a mailing list requested by the Ghanaian community for the upcoming Wikimedia Ghana Initial admins email address is: wikimediaghana@gmail.com
Per the naming standard (http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Mailing_lists/Standardization#Wikimedia), this would be better as: Wikimedia-GH@lists.wikimedia.org Is this okay with you? Also, do you have a second email address/person that I can make a list admin, it's good practice to have more than one in case one becomes inactive.
Wikimedia-GH@lists.wikimedia.org is perfect for us. Well, who is better else more to use as an admin apart from you? Please add your email and/or any other admin you know to the list. Even if two or more admin emails are added, its okay with us. For now, let us use you as second admin +/- someone else. If later on we have more dedicated, constant Ghanaians on board, we can take the charge to maintain them ourselves, after gaining the much needed experience. Great. I'm happy to be a list admin but I think that you should ideally add one of the other people listed at http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikimedia_Ghana#Who_are_Interested_in_Wikimedia_Ghana as a list admin. Is there anyone there that is active enough in the discussions to be a list admin?
Well, Oral Ofori is very active with the Wikimedia Ghana. Then, please use him as an admin for the Wikimedia Ghana mailing list.
