Thank you for your interest to improve MediaWiki extension translations.

If you wish to give us an hand to translate into Farsi, you can directly do that at http://translatewiki.net/wiki/Main_Page.

This wiki will allow to translate the Collection extension, but also several MediaWiki and Wikimedia-related pieces of software, and even other open source softwares.

You can use this bug report to share your experience, and I will be glad to assist you in the process if you've some questions or difficulties.

[ Adding i18n keyword ; priority set to trivial ]

at first I searched in  

http://translatewiki.net/w/i.php?title=Special:Translate&task=reviewall&group=ext-collection-core&language=fa

and

http://translatewiki.net/w/i.php?title=Special:Translate&task=reviewall&group=ext-collection-other&language=fa

but it doesn't use them! for example

http://translatewiki.net/w/i.php?title=MediaWiki:Coll-contents/fa&action=edit&loadgroup=ext-collection-other&loadtask=reviewall

and the others are not there.

Indeed, I think those messages in TranslateWiki concerns the interface on the wiki, and not the engine generating the PDF.

I'm going to investigate and I'll come back with you as soon as I find where we we can localize this.



[ Precisions for people willing to fix this ]

This bug isn't related to the extension messages interface.

This bug is related to the *PDF OUTPUT* of the Collections system.

It's not the extension interface exposed to MediaWiki but the PDF output.

The PDF are prepared by a standalone external server.

It's also a project translated on TranslateWiki :

Maybe we don't have an up to date languages files there, I'm go on with investigations.

That's massively out of date

Make the translations on TranslateWiki, then they should get brought in in the near future when PediaPress update mwlib and re-push it to the pdf servers

Translations are already up to date on TranslateWiki and upstream in the PediaPress repositories.

Tomasz, can you poke Pediapress about this?

Bug reopened, as it's still pending resolution.

the translation files in mwlib.rl 0.12.11 were missing. fixed in 0.12.12.

QA: the issue is solved, as verified through the submitted test case in comment 1.
