In the simple search field, modifier keys fail to register work when the return key is pressed. Shift-Return and Option-Return behave like a plain Return keypress, while Command-Return and Shift-Command-Return prevent the search. Turning off JavaScript fixes the behaviour. Modifier-key combinations with clicking the magnifying glass icon work correctly.
