Description Jon 2012-06-21 18:38:52 UTC
When a user edits a page without javascript they get a big text area containing the header (usually contains the page number), the body of the text being transcribed and the footer in wikitext. There is a danger that these may be incorrectly edited and result in the removal of the footer and header which are less frequently edited.

In javascript the header, body and footer are separated into 3 input boxes. This should probably be done in PHP instead.

The text would be split in PHP and placed into an input, a textarea and input boxes that when submitted would be combined.
